My golden rule when photographing children is: “Shoot them as they are”. There is beauty in photographing children and capturing them as they are, and the best shots are often impromptu. Children don’t usually fake their emotions, which makes portraits stand out! My secret weapon to get kids to cooperate during their session is speaking their language and going to the beat of their drum!
